How long to get something mailed from across the pond? |

I'm waiting for a book from England. It was probably mailed mid June. :)
Just regular mail. :(

par avion, does that mean "air mail?" cuz that usually takes a week. Regular mail I have no idea sorry.

about a month is normal. I used to send stuff to and from Germany, 4-5 weeks was normal for packages.

and my experience surface mail time is just about when have given hope of ever seeing it. Usually 6 or 7 weeks.

The Royal Mail web-site say that surface mail is up to eight weeks - though that is everywhere beyond Europe, one would have thought that a major destination such as the U.S. would be a tad bit quicker than central Africa or some similar place.
