7. Well...parts of Texas are Great Plains...some is southwest...
...some is old south...and some is Northern Mexico.

It's like a whole other country don'tcha know. ;)

Seroiusly, I never feel like it's completely part of the South or the Southwest so I never know how to answer this kind of question.

26. Exactly. El Paso is southwest, Beaumont the South, Amarillo Great Plains..
And the Valley is like its own category. Everything in between is anybody's guess.

Planning to move, eventually...I still miss California. I was a Navy brat, so I grew up all over, but my fondest memories are of the Bay Area.
