4. I'm going to miss my roof

In a few weeks I will be moving out of the building I've worked in for two decades. The roof was my spare office. I will miss the wild parrots that come through at sunset (literally dozens of them) and perch in the giant acorn tree.

my office sets above a fly way where wild mexican parrots come through to head inland for the evening...there are several hundred of them and they come through in about 3 different shifts every evening at sunset...all year long...they are beautiful ...green with red, and yellow and a nice large wingspan...they are profoundly noisy so even when I don't see them, I hear them...I'm SO gonna miss them..twenty years of watching the flock grow larger and larger...I leave them fruits, nuts and canteloupe on the roof...parrots love fruit
