President George W. Bush visits with the 2005 Boys and Girls Nation Senators Wednesday, July 27, 2005, during a photo opportunity in the East Room of the White House. Selected by the American Legion and the American Legion Auxiliary, the Senate consists of four outstanding high school graduates (two boys and two girls) from each state, except Hawaii and Louisiana, who then visit Washington DC to learn more about the federal government.
