Another Democrat for Bush. Huh ?? |
|
I saw this on a bumper sticker yesterday. I cannot imagine an actual Democrat would admit to voting for Bush. However, in the year that I've lived in North Carolina, I've notice that there are many Democrats who are nothing like the Democrats I knew in Maryland. They are DINOs, or Jessecrats.
Has anyone on DU admitted to voting for Bush?

That's probably the only thing all DUers have in common.

That may not be the right word, but you know what I mean.
All of us at DU should have gotten bumperstickers last year saying "Another Republican for Kerry." It would have meant the same thing. A Republican for Bush = A Democrat. Period.
And don't get me wrong. There are plenty Republicans (though a shrinking number of them) that Democrats can support, and vice versa. But George Bush is NOT one of them.

4. Yeah, I know what you mean. |
|
He's a fake, as are probably many (but not all) 'Democrats' who support Republican candidates. Don't know why I didn't think of that.
Just like many of those freepers who claim, "I used to be a Democrat." Uh-huh.

9. Jews for Jesus? I would call that a "Christian." |
|
And a Democrat for Bush = Republican.

10. I saw a bumper sticker driving around the Washington Beltway |
|
a couple of weeks ago which said "Hang on Maryland, the republicans are coming" along with pro-Booby Errorlich and Dumbyass stickers.

11. Some (ex)republicans have converted over. So some |
|
may have voted Bush the first time and then saw the light. Which I think we should forgive them. At least they came around, right? But I would guess even if that is the case, the number would be very few. Actually I would be surprised if someone admitted to it anyway.

12. It's a Republican with the idea of pasting a bumper sticker on his |
|
car to get other real Dems to vote Bush...which would never happen. Republicans voting for Dems? Now that is a reality. Republicans for Dean was a real group.
