Seriously. Why do I care? you ask. Good question. Let's just say I'm working from home and all hopped up on meds.
Anyway...First there was the fundie fracas about her sexy vid. To insult Jessica's sex is to insult her schtick, which is to insult her.
Now there's this bit that she's upset that the video that was produced from her USO tour was too "happy." Yep, that's right, she's claiming her video is too happy, and that film shot showing the gloominess of what our troops are facing in Iraq was mysteriously cut.
IN addition, she's said the whole Iraq USO tour opened her eyes to what's really going on over there.
Anyway, back to my meds.

She did hang with Al Franken for a while, who knows, he has had a habit of talking sense into Repugs. He got Ben Stein to vote for Dukakis after all :)

He appeared at a Free Republic rally and endorsed Clinton's impeachment. He was on FOX quite a bit during that time too.
Joe Simpson seems to be pretty pro-Republican but I don't know that his daughters are all that political. I'm guessing they take their cues from him. But a lot of people are like that -- they either don't have the time or the inclination to follow the issues, so they end up voting for whoever their friends or parents do. By the way, that goes for both Left and Right.

she's a bandwagon jumper just like all the other "patriotic" celebrities who claim to support the troops, etc. it's all about the money.
