I'm kidding, my dear WCGreen, but you made me laugh!

Things are good here today....I haven't seen the beach yet, but I might, later, after I go to my Farmer's Mkt. I go out of my way to drive along the beach and I can glance over at the glittering water from time to time. Esp. if there's little traffic bearing down on me! If I'm lucky, I'll be able to see Catalina Island. It's gorgeous on a clear day...

I had a flat on one of those curvey mountina rd. in LA once, right in the blind spot.

I never changed a tire faster in my life....

Believe me, I have NO idea what is with the crazy drivers here! I don't like them either...

Your little adventure sounds truly scary... :scared: At least you know how to change a flat...I DON'T! :scared:

And BTW, I DO keep both hands on the steering wheel at all times! My EYES might stray briefly onto the ocean...but my hands stay on the wheel...I am careful; I want like you would NOT believe to live!
