1. if I were an astronaut, I would probably be an adrenaline junkie
and wanted to have gone out there no matter what the risks.

Of course, since I'm very very afraid of heights I'd do that on the way up to the shuttle, and they'd get somebody who wasn't completely chicken**** and leave me safe on terra firma.

6. I can honestly say, I've never met an astronaut who....
...doesn't wish that they were on orbit at the time.

It's all about being weightless.

Besides, as astronaut Dave Wolf used to say in signing off from MIR....

"Be careful down there. It's awfully close to the ground and somebody could get hurt."
