I just saw Ted Johnson is going to retire due to too many concussions. I always really liked the way he played. A classy guy who played the game the way it should be. I'm not a big Pats fan myself, but I respect their team and have always respected Ted Johnson.

he's making the right decision. Seeing that he couldn't find ANY doctor to clear to play it's smart move.
I'm sure he doesn't want to be the next Mike Webster.
Nothing like going out on top.

He has nothing to prove at this point in his career. I had some pretty serious injuries and was forced to bow out of competitive athletics before too. I was a wrestler and bull rider. And, I'll tell you, when it's time to give it up you know. Sometimes your pride doesn't want you to, but you know what's best, in the end. Good luck to him though. You're right, nothing like going out on top.
