Can someone post the lyrics to those two country propaganda songs?
"Have you Forgotten" and "Courtesy the Red White and Blue"?

People keep mentioning them here, and I can't say I've ever heard either one.

Not that I want to; I just want a point of reference.

3. One is lies and the other is jingoistic propaganda.
Well, they're both propaganda, when you get right down to it. Toby Keith's song is simply misguided and perhaps racist. It's all about warmongering. Worley's song, on the other hand, helps propagate the myth that Iraq in general and Hussein in particular had something to do with 9/11. That song is a damn lie.

They both suck, but they suck differently.

4. I have no problem with the first two verses of Red White and Blue

Other than the fact that the lyrics remind me of finding your first college roommate's "lryic notebook" that he was keeping because"he was gonna start a band" and you read a few of the pages and everything is utter crap and uses simple rhyme structures and doesn't flow well. They suck and are novice lyrics, I just meant I do not find them objectionable.

The rest of the song is misguided and inflammatory. And his only point overall is that the USA can run around carpet bombing anything they want because we are angry. Screw your civilians, we don't care. As long as it's outside our border, violence is Toby's way to go.

I hate that guy, and I was so glad to see him shut out at the CMAs last night.
