I just came home from a week in Manhattan. Ask me anything.
The first three days were so hot and muggy it just hurt to breathe when I walked around. Yesterday and today were much better. I left my office at 12:00pm Eastern time and just got back to Wisconsin a few minutes ago......

There just wasn't any time. My managers took me to some nice restaurants - one along the seaport but I couldn't tell you the names.

Next time I'll do more.

7. did you see the East River?
I've heard that if you ever visit New York, the one thing you cannot miss is seeing the East River. Because it's not a river at all! Just an arm of the sea. Part of the Long Island Sound. Has anybody ever bothered to ask why they call it a river when it really isn't?

8. I think my hotel faced the East River
I was very close to it and there were fish markets around there but it didn't smell good on a hot muggy day.

There was a Seinfeld episode in which Kramer went swimming in the East river and didn't smell so good afterwards... thats what I always think of when I hear the East River.

9. well you know my question was tongue in cheek...
Since you were busy there I thought I'd ask you about something I thought you could not help but see rather than "did you go to the Statue of Liberty?"...or "did you see the Rockettes?"..

Do you think you saw more people waiting at a crosswalk for the light to change at a single intersection than inhabit whole towns in Wisconsin?
