Have you ever had a crush on a movie star or TV actor?

When I was 10 (in the mid 1950's) I was madly in love with one of the girls on the Mickey Mouse Club. It wasn't Annette, it was one of the other ones, but I don't recall her name now. And that lady who played Annie Oakley on TV in the fifties! Boy, I was really crazy about her too.

1. all the time....
I'm a big fan of both Diane Lane and Marisa Tomei. Smoking good looking and talented women. I love Naomi Watts too.

Lots... too many to list. How about Eva Longoria and Vanessa Marcil just to finish this all off.

Yes, a few...
Olivia Newton-John, Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman), Kate Jackson (Sabrina from Charlie's Angels). Can you tell I grew up in the 70s?

:-)

3. Kate Jackson was the sexiest of the Angels
She was also the best thing about Making Love (well except for the sex scene with Michael Ontkean and Harry Hamlin).

6. I have worked with her twice.
She has a reputation for being a complete psycho nutcase, but I didn;t get that vibe at all.

She's a breast cnacer survivor, and she was on some crazy meds for a while...that might have contributed to her moods and stuff.

Now that I think about it, I've worked with all the original Charlie's Angels. Lucky for them (and me) there's still a demand for Hallmark Hall of Fame movies!

5. I have a thing for George Clooney
I will see his films when they come out, and it is just a bonus that when I do, I am supporting a fellow progressive.

I went to a fan site to look for info on his new movie on McCarthy, and I was scared off by the um...dedication that some people had for the whole thing, lol. Those people scare me.:scared:

15. The Clooney is ten kinds of hot.
Although I must confess I did not fully appreciate the total yum that is The Clooney until I saw "O Brother." There's just something about a vaguely scruffy looking guy that just sends me..... :loveya:

7. 35 years and counting for Robert Redford.
Paul Newman, and Spencer Tracy run a close second. Gotta say, Keanu Reeves is about as hot as hot gets.

10. Oh yeah! Redford!
When Susan Sarandon said in Celluloid Closet that at the end of Butch and Sundance, Redford and Newman should have pulled out their dicks rather than their guns - my underwear melted just thinking about it.

9. God, yes.
When I was growing up, I had HUGE crushes on Lost In Space's Angela Cartwright and The Brady Bunch's Eve Plumb. Penny and Jan made me weak in the knees when I was a kid.

16. Jon Stewart
I'm gay, and I would so love to spend a night with Jon Stewart, if for no other reason than calling the Janet Jackson affair "the Tit Offensive." If only he were about 10 years younger and not straight and married with children.

19. Welcome to DU!
I love Stewart but not in the sexy way, even though if we were both single, who knows.

My crushes for famous people are as follows:

7 years old Bruce Willis in Moonlighting
12-18 David Letterman
13-15 Christian Slater in Heathers
16-17 Keanu Reeves
16-19 Jim Carrey, I still love him, but those were the crushtastic years
19 meet my hubby and all other men were invisable
8 years later my hubby and I have decided that celeb crushes are fine.

He has crushes on Angelina Jolie and Naomi Watts.

Me: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

Angelina is my first girl crush, I'm so proud.

20. Growing up, yes. I don't have any crushes now, though,
probably because I don't have TV.

I liked William Shatner when I was young, then I fell hard for Harrison Ford as Han Solo. After that, there were no major crushes until David Duchovny. :)

David Duchovny, why won't you love me???

She got my motor running when I was 5 years old.

Later, when I was twelve or thirteen, I fell madly in love with Haley Mills, especially when I saw her in the Disney movie "Summer Magic".

I have intermittent crushes that are explored and exhausted by movie marathons. Russell Crowe, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Ewan MacGregor, Gabriel Byrne, Nicolas Cage, Benicio Del Toro, Wesley Snipes. Sigh.
