I fucking hate society so much right now I could blow
Edited on Sat Jul-30-05 05:06 AM by HEyHEY
Just a bad night... so bad I had to leave "the club" - a place I rarely frequent - because I was about to beat the ever loving shit out of the next 20-year-old backstreet wannabee that bumped into my shoulder without even trying to get out of the way.

It was just one of those nights. Thank fully a cab radio girl made it better. I called (knowing they were extremely busy) and she said there was no way she could get someone to me quickly. SO I said fine, "I'm wearing a white shirt and I'm in front of the Bank of Hong Kong. If one of your drivers has a moment, tell them the guy with the white shirt desperately wants to go home."

She laughed and told m to just hang on... a cab was there ea few minutes later... I'm writing a letter to the company in praise tomorrow.

1. You need to drink in cheap old dives that young people are afraid of
A place where deranged veterans scream in terror between the shots.

2. Amen... that's where I usually go
However, tonight was my roomie's birthday.. and she gets all touchy about that.
Truly I'd of rather gone to the cabin where my sister, her husband, and their freshly born Son are. But I knew I had to go to this thing. So after spending $140 tonight, here I am.. pissed of and slightly buzzed. I fucking hate clubs.. rip off.

Good to see you though

3. I've had only 4 beers in bars all month.
My friends and I are cheap. We usually drink in the apartment and watch TV. Last weekend we had Malt Liquor, Night Train, some decent red wine and watched Menace II Society. It was cool

5. That's the reason why I stay away from clubs.
You get the stupid pretty boys who think that they are prettier than the women in there. Then you get the bitchy women who bitch, moan and primp all night long in the bathrooms while trashtalking and threatening to "kick the shit" out of some unsuspecting girl because they are both wearing the same top(that I saw mass-produced in every other store in the local malls).
Not my idea of a fun night.

7. I love hitting a beer joint.
So much more fun, everyone dressed in jeans, everyone buys everyone else a round, jukebox blaring some Skynard and everyone bs-ing each other.
The people aren't all that attractive but they have real lives and real personalities.

8. I was talking to a dude that was at this thing
He was a good guy, and we basically concurred on how "This bar is full of useless people."

He was saying how when he was my age, he had totally given up on "this scene."

9. I gave up on it when I was 25.
My daughter was a newborn. My friends wanted me to go out and find someone-anyone-that could "replace" my ex. I told them that I wouldn't find that in a club.
Clubs are fun when you're a teen or in your early 20's but after that they quickly wear at you. I prefer to hang out w/ real people. I hear lots of good union stories that way.
