Just got back from Idaho and Montana.

Saw some beautiful country and everyone was so very nice and friendly. We were surprised to see gas stations with the Esso and Sinclair signs, which I had not seen in decades. It was a relief to get away from the oppressive heat that has been here the last week or two. I have to say it was also the whitest place I have ever been. We never saw one person even a shade different than white. Are there not any people of color living there?

I went when I was much younger and had time to explore off the beaten path.
