I went swimming in the Hudson River today!
I don't know if the water is naturally this warm, or if Indian Point is kicking out so much heat, but the water was awesome! Nice and warm, and clean.

Nothing ugly here except GE's PCBs and Indian Point's radiation.

Have you ever swam in the Hudson River?

1. no but
lake michigan is warm enough to swim in this year. some years it never gets there, most years it takes until septmeber. but the hot sunny weather, and little cold rain, and it is quite temperate already.
