1. Wow, a Delorean!

I don't think I've ever seen one outside of Back to the Future.

2. They use to sell them here in Lakewood....

3. The gull wing doors were unique, but sometimes a problem.

Years ago I was behind a Delorean in rush hour traffic as we approached an automatic toll booth where you toss the coins into a basket.

One of his quarters didn't make it into the basket and landed next to the car. Evidently he had no more quarters. The car was too close to the basket to get the door open. Of course the exit barrier was still down. I was too close for him to back up and the car behind me was too close, as was the car behind that, and so on.

After we sat there for a couple of minutes I got out and walked up and put a quarter in for him. He thanked me profusely and tried to give me a $5. By now I was laughing my ass off and I declined.

4. You see some bizarre things in LA

I went to a concert there a couple of years ago and we spent the night. I saw an amazing amount of mullets and some guy wearing an electric blue silk shirt - very ugly. And yes, he was one of the guys with a mullet.

5. When I was in LA in March,

I saw Reagan's star on the Hollywood walk of fame. I spat on it. It felt good.
