Question about rechargeble batteries. |
|
I bought some AA NiMH for my toy digital camera - ther is something wrong with it and it kills batteries even when it is shut off after about three days.
My question, though, si if I charge up these new batteries and don't actually put them in the camera how long will they hold their charge? Same as regular batteries?

Rechargeable don't hold a charge worth a shit. Three days is a little low, but you can't expect more than a week of shelf life. They should be used or kept on trickle charge until they are used.

That's what I was afraid of. (dang - have total of 8 batteries now but only 4 charging "slots". Was hoping they could be stored.) oh well.
