Usually in the winter months, I don't bother with shaving my legs. Now, it's summer, and I have let it grow out anyhow. I was sick for over a month and shaving my legs was the last thing on my mind. Now, I can't reach them just yet ir stay bent over that long to do it. My cats don't seem to care. They still rub against my legs when I have food hoping I'll either trip and spill it all over the floor for them or decide they are loving me just right and share which is what usually happens.
I'm kind of tired of the tyranny of the razor and cannot afford the electrolysis to permanently remove the leg hair, but the pit hair option in the poll was funny so I voted there. I couldn't help it. I do shave those daily always even in the winter. I can't deal with hair under the pits.

I dated a girl who braided her pit hair. And put little satins bows on the braids. Scary but true.

6. You dated very artistic women, I guess |
|
This question was for women, and I think one should make that clear. Reason: there are plenty of men who don't shave, or perhaps they do if they are cyclists in the tours or swimmers in competition.
I am female, and I do shave, but not often as I used to; most of my shaving is in the summer when I expose more skin because of warmer temps, and even then, I shave only once every fortnight. I confess that I am very American compared to our counterparts in Europe when it comes to shaving, but it has to do with my dark hair that I was born with. If my hair on my body appeared blonde or light, I probably wouldn't bother with it as much.
Some books on sex recommend arm pit hair for musky smells that appeal to a few men or women. I'm not certain that works for me, but my spouse seldom complains about hair growth either in the "thick of the moment".

7. The question wasn't exclusively for women |
|
I was being a little silly but I did want to know how both men and women felt about shaving. And how they viewed it in the opposite gender. Or the same gender.
I was ripping off on earlier thread, but I'd just read an article in praise of men's body hair (I'll have to send the accompanying pix to xmas, she's totally with me on that one) but there was also a sidebar about hairy women. I thought it was interesting and provocative.

That's inventive. I can't seem to make myself let the pit hair grow, but I have no problem letting the leg hair grow.
