Cat (Pumpkin) 1 - Dog (Remi) 0 --- The Great Animal Wars Have Begun!

This is Pumpkin



Pumpkin is the matriarch of the family. She is BY FAR the most intelligent animal I have EVER seen let alone be owned by. Pumpkin has decided she likes to torment the dog.

This is Remi



Remi is as dumb as they come but loveable (most of the time). Remi sleeps in his dog-bed on Mrs Matcom's side of the bed.

The story: As mentioned, Pumpkin has taken a liking to Remi's dog-bed. When we go up to bed, Remi does too and immediately curles up in said bed. Pumpkin has found a new game to keep her amused (usually around 2:00 am x( )

Pumpkin will jump on Mrs Matcom's nightstand and while Remi is in blissful slumber, Pumpkin will knock the tissue box (or WHATEVER is available on the nightstand) over on to Remi's head. Remi, waking up and dissoriented, will leap to his feet and run twords the bedroom door.

Pumpkin immediately hops into Remi's bed and curles up looking innocent. Remi is relegated to sleeping on the throw-rug.

My mother in law rescued him off the highway a couple winters ago. He'd been hit and the driver came knocking on her door saying he didn't have time to deal with it so her and her hubby took him to the emergency vet. (Awwww, such good people) And now, we have this to look at every day:





But, him and his brother are inseperable




Just to re-iterate how messed up his eyes are....

except it was 6:00 am this morning so it gave me an excuse to get up :D.

tissue box again. Remi is up and Pumpkin is snuggled in his bed. Guess its time to clear off Mrs Matcom's nightstand

Actually, anyone betting on Pumpkin now is just a front-runner. Her odds are so short, you won't make any money. You'll have to package it with a time component, sort of like the underpants baby pool. :D

My gizmo, a mixed persian/tabby, great little cat. was very adaptable having endurred seven other cats as well as a border collie...

Now Alfie, the BC, liked to run around and herd the furniture....

Gizmo, who was always up for the game, would smack old alfie everytime he ran he ran by ....

Alfie never got a clue that he shouldn't run on by....
