It's not exactly life threatening although it hurts lik a sumbitch. I have no insurance and no money, so no emergency room.
My old gym coach used say "walk it off". I can't walk it off (obviously) so I'm gonna post it off.

Cuz I've done this before and know what it feels like and I can't bend the damn thing.
But if you keep calling me silly man, I'm gonna quit telling you how pretty you are.

How did you do that? You need to stabilize it, get it up off the floor onto something, and get some ice onto it...OK? This will help the pain...Up onto something like an ottoman, or on the couch on a pillow or something like that...The acronym is RICE...Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation...Same advice works for sprains...
Please take care of yourself!

I've got ice on it and am resting it on a chair. Not a big deal, really. I'm a macho man. I can handle it :)

11. I would never question your ability to handle it, my dear Khash! |
|
These measures will/might assist in the healing...Although, now that I consider it carefully, maybe not! Bones will knit as long as they stay in one place for awhile...the rest is just pain relief...
Oh well...I take it all back! Except for my wish that you get better!

7. I'll save you some money. Here's what to do for a broken toe: |
|
Nothing. Absolutely nothing. There's nothing that can be done. It can't be splinted or taped. Like broken ribs. Soaking it in ice water might ease the pain. Take some ibuprofen. If you're so inclined, have a few (or several) stiff drinks. Works for me. Sorry, bub.

10. Yeah there's not much to be done. |

Some ice, some ibuprofen, no problemo.
One of those things you can't do much about.

14. Been there, done that. |

There's nothing they can do about it so just do what you already know. I've broken my hand, two toes and my tailbone. They could only do something about the hand. The rest they took x-rays and sent me home. We both know that it hurts but it will heal. Take some pills and-I don't know-stare at pics of Trent again. It'll be ok.

13. I broke my little toe a few years ago - I went to the doctor for treatment |
|
His "treatment" was taking out a roll of scotch tape and taping my little toe to the next in line. That was it. Fortunately, it was a clean break and healed after about 4 weeks.

I once dated a gal who was a jock. She's broken her little toe so many times, she had a special pair of sneaks with the area around the little toes cut out.
