And let's hope the bats stay awake so the bullpen can take a nap. They've been kept too busy. K-Rod doesn't blow too many saves, if memory serves.

doesn't he only have like 4 blown saves all year? I was watching the end of the game yesterday at the bar flanked by Yankee fans...I had to sneak away quietly.
It's not going to be an easy game, they have Johnson on the mound today

The Halos need to keep their chins up. The A's are on the horizon.
And - what's this - the NL East looks like the toughest division in baseball! The Mets are at the bottom playing .500 ball?! Wow. How disappointing for the fans. :hug:

the Mets aren't playing bad ball but just when I think they've turned the corner, they drop 4 straight. On Monday they were only 3.5 out now they are 8 back. Thats why I was so hoping for that Manny trade...they need to light a fire under their collective asses. Still I haven't counted them out yet. I think we are only 5 back from the Wild Card and there are a lot of division games to be played (and we have a winning record against everyone in our division except the Braves).

we also get a lot of "terra traffic" jams over the bridge. the yankee jams can make it unbearable.
