I stepped on a nail today. |
|
and it went through my shoe and into my foot. That sucked. Then I go to the ER to get a tetanus shot (it'd been 12 years) and the doctor insists on digging around in the puncture with a scalpel. That sucked even worse. So I spent the rest of the day sitting around bitching to everyone and anyone who would listen. So far in July: Poison Ivy (now healed), Sinus Infection (working on it), and hole in foot (ouch). August has to be better!:(

Puncture wounds are much worse than surface type wounds. The surface wounds tend to hurt a whole lot more but punctures lead to deep infections. Smart move going to the hospital, an ounce of prevention and all.

When he was in his mid thirties. Life sucked a lot more back then without antibiotics and vaccines. Cheer up!
