I just got into a staring contest with four deer

at the feeder. She stops by a couple of times a day. One of these days I'll get a picture of her.

5. boy scout summer camp one year

my tentmate and I were visited by one of the little buggers. Sniffed around under my cot (while I was in it) for a couple of minutes, scared the shit out of me.

We cleaned up the trash in the tent after that.

6. yeah they are not too pleasant to be around

My little brother is practically like that kid from Where The Red Fern Grows. Always out at night hunting etc with his dogs. Well, in the day too, I guess. He just treks all over with his dogs and they would get into all sorts of stuff. Once they ran into that skunk, I wasn't there but I guess he was just rancid for days. I'm not kidding, he literally fistfought the thing, haha. He's quite a character. He fought a badger once too. Man! Those things will kill a guy! He was attacked by it and just duked it out with the thing. He kicked it hard a few times and it ran away. He's lucky he didn't get seriously hurt. Oh, the life of a farm hick.
