by any chance has anyone had their itunes credit confiscated by apple |
|
ugh
all of a sudden my remaining itunes credit was disappeared so i email apple and they say it was my credit card and there was unauthorized use reported related to this certificate
the problem is i didnt use a cc for this certificate purchase i bought it with a money order through ebay and had used the bulk of the money order but not all of it yet
now that could be the problem though the person had 100% feedback and even gave me their telephone #
but if that was the case why would apple initially tell me it was my cc that was the problem why wouldnt they explain to me the process that happened and why there was a problem like if it was stolen or something
i explained to them it couldnt be any issue with my cc so now they have a generic email advising me to contact the seller if i have the certificate but cant use it
but the specific issue is that i could use the certificate until apple confiscated the rest of it they just havent told me exactly why which would seem to be the logical place to start with that
so has anyone else had any trouble with itunes certificates (incl from ebay)

1. If you bought it on ebay |
|
it doesn't matter how YOU paid - the points were originally purchased with the seller (or someone elses credit card) If that was fraudulent then you're just screwed.

so it could be that the original purchaser has the cc issue and thus me
now that makes more sense i hadnt considered that because i thought the ebay seller said they were selling them after winning them or along those lines
figures i had not purchased things like this through ebay before so that will learn me
thanks for responding
