...that I once knew a Kate in Cambridge. "Despite" because our friendship ended on a sour note. But I still love Cambridge and Boston.

Do you ever check out any of the musicians of Hi-n-Dry? They usually play gigs at the Lizard Lounge. Twinemen is my favorite - it includes my friends Billy Conway and Dana Colley, formerly of Morphine. Monique Ortiz's Bourbon Princess is a great group too.

...but over the years I have gotten to know Dana, Billy and Laurie pretty well, enough that they remember and talk to me before and after shows. They are wonderful guys (and a gal) and friendly to fans, even if you run into them halfway through a tour and they've been bouncing around in a bus all day and night.

I also had a Morphine tribute site (http://www.lowrock.com/) that went down in flames because I got too ambitious with it. I want to have it back up in more limited form before the end of the year.
