Sometimes GD really pisses me off.

Sometimes someone will start ragging on something that's a hot-button issue for me. Tonight I ran across a post that said, "Everyone who does X is stupid and hypocritical." I happen to do X. Hell, I really enjoy doing X. It's fun. It doesn't hurt anyone. Yet the person called me a stupid hypocrite a priori simply because I enjoy an activity he / she doesn't.

Why does this sometimes really get under my skin while other times I can just shrug it off? I don't understand.

well, that's what I found when I went searching for a quote that sounded like 'you can't argue taste' or 'there is no sense in arguing taste'
