Mouse cleaning
Anyone else here clean their mouse by taking it apart? With my old regular mouse, I was taking it apart about once a week and scooping out cat hair, dust bunnies and whatever else could get stuck on the ball, between the two buttons and whatever else it could attract on my desk.

The new one, an optical, wireless mouse, doesn't have the ball, but it got really messy inside anyhow. Fact is, it's been making me change batteries every three days!!!!! I finally figured out that it must have some debris collected around the wheel, so I opened it only to find cat hairs entangling the wheel to the point of choking it.

So now the mouse works right again. I hope it also means that the batteries aren't going to need changing what seems like every other day. That part sucks.

1. Depending on the Mouse, Some of them suck up batteries like a ...
...thirsty horse in the middle of Summer.
If it keeps up...you might want to get a differant brand of mouse or you'll be spending 50 bucks a year on batteries.. :)

The Microsoft Mouses are usually fairly easy on the cells,,,
