"Six Marines from a northeast Ohio division were killed in

During Desert Storm I went to see these men and women off. It was really heartbreaking seeing them leave and you could see it on their faces. I still have the "I support The Troops" button. Yeah, this liberal went to support them by attending their departure. I knew some of the families of some of the soldiers. That was quite a few years ago, but I am waiting for the names to be released of the 6. I grew up in that part of town.
The ones from Northeast Ohio that were killed a few months ago were from my father's old unit out of Akron. One of the boys were from my hometown. I didn't know the name, but either way it is terrible. I guess as time goes on, more and more people will be affected directly by someone they know that is over there.
Well, I just saw this and wanted to type it.

decimated as well, 2 more earlier this week in addition to the large amount last month.

Ohio's sons and daughters...being sacrificed FOR WHAT? Ego?

All of them are in my thoughts, all across the country. I guess this one seems a lot more real because that is right here and I knew some of them. I used to have softball practice at that building and one of the guys on my team was a Marine that was deployed from there to Desert Storm.
It just keeps getting closer to home.
