Tonight is National Night Out in my neighborhood.
Hot dogs, chips and a drink to all that stop by the club house to meet your neighbors. I don't want to go. Am I being anti-social?

1. The best way to have good neighbors is
to be one. Were having National Night Out here in Columbus tonight too.

2. Is there anything inherently WRONG with being asocial (not anti-social)?
Or, for that matter, with not being too terribly enthused at the prospect of listening to drug war propaganda and police fearmongering? (These are apparently part of the scheduled entertainment for these things.) I don't think so, personally, but I admit that my views are probably not representative of the majority.
