Our little girl turned three years old today....

Our precious princess, Sonora, came to us 2 and a half years ago... we decided her birthday was August 2, after our vet said she was around 6 months.

She came to us first and then we rescued and kept her brother a few months later (she is grooming him, Tennyson in the bottom pick). Both of their politics are very progressive... shortly after I became a Deaniac in the summer of 2003, they formed the local "Cats for Kucinich" group and kept daddy on his toes throughout the campaign. Sonora is more the east coast limousine liberal type... she falls into the traps of fighting the GOP-defined culture war whereas Tenny is your bread and butter midwest progressive, he is a fighter for the common man.

But, hey, I thought my 12-year-old white/tabby girl was THE "precious princess"! That's what I call her all the time.
