1. Which begs the question |
|
If guns are not allowed at schools, why is gun safety being taught there?

Make special exceptions for Hunter education classes, where students use real firearms (With no live ammunition) to practice gun saftey techniques such as proper carrying techniques, proper Standing, sitting, and prone positions, cleaning, proper techniques for dealing with fences and proper techniques for haulung a firearm up into a tree stand, etc.

8. We take our hunting seriously over here. |
|
Even though I can never trust myself with a firearm ever again after a nervous breakdown I had five years ago, I am an avid supporter of hunters.
We have buisnesses here that would probably have to shut down if it were'nt for the hunters coming up in the fall.
Besides, venison is yummy. :9

...people? That bullet could have just as easily went in some kids head who was sitting there.
Keep it holstered dude. When guns are pulled out, bad things happen. Fucking grow up.

12. I remember back in high school |
|
We had a girl who accidently shot herself in the left foot while deer hunting. Her thumb slipped while trying to ease the hammer down on her 30-30 lever action rifle at the end of the day. (On certain lever actions, it's the only way to uncock the rifle.)
When the guys at her father's deer camp found out, they all ceremoniously burned their left socks.

13. When I was driving pizza several years ago, I delivered to a customer who |
|
was limping painfully as he answered the door. With no prompting on my part, he sheepishly explained that he was a cop who had accidentally shot himself in the groin while holstering his pistol. I wished him a speedy recovery as I retreated to my car, never ceasing to be amazed at the information complete strangers will volunteer!
True story.
