Where did you go wrong?
They say hind sight is 20/20. When I look back on my life, I wish I had taken my education more seriously. My college boyfriend was killed in a car accident close to the end of my second year in college. I wanted to be a remedial reading teacher. I was so destroyed by his death that I quit and took an associates degree. I wish now that I had been strong enough to continue.

What decision do you regret that you think could have made your life different of better?

1. Go back and get more education
I know it's tough while you have to work full time but I went back and took training in programming and computers and it helped me find a higher paying job. So go ahead you can do it!

6. I did that.
I went back two years ago. But, it would have been a lot easier and more beneficial if I had just stayed in college when I was a lot younger.

2. I wish
I had the guts to fight back the bullies and the taunting. Give them the black eyes, the misery, the rejection. Make them the pathetic ones.

I hadn't used a single credit card or get caught up in our "things are better than people" excuse of a society.

In the end, none of it matters. We have to deal with NOW and soon. I think we are ALL beyond recrimination anyway.

7. All the bullies
I've known ended up living miserable lives.-- Divorces, assault charges, etc. What goes around comes around.

I don't see "looking back" as recrimination. But, it's helps us make better decisions now and in the future.

4. I screwed around in school.
I started out fine during my first year. Then after that I started messing around with things that I shouldn't have messed around with and ended up dropping out. I tried to go back several times and only ended up taking a class here and there. I finally went back full time this past January. If I had just done what I was supposed to do in the first place I would have graduated nearly three years ago.
