why i'm angry

i'm often asked/confronted over why i'm so angry.
sometimes, why i'm so angry at them - since the onLy ones who ask are either bushies or apoLiticaL, and i am indeed, angry at them.

because of this:

because they can't be bothered to care about a 'statistic'.
because of my neighbor, who Lost his hands; his fucking hands.

7. It's so awful.

A friend of mine is in the Army and had been in Iraq for a year. I got to see him a while ago. It's so hard. He's just so sad and heavy--I don't know how else to describe it.
I'm sure it's kind of obvious that he might feel that way, but seeing him like that. God. You just can't hold someone tight enough.

Is when you tell a Bush supporter all of this shit, they acknowledge that you're right, but still insist that Bush has "values" and that he's still the best person to be doing the job. What the fuck kind of cognitive dissonance does ones brain have to produce to think that? (This happened to me quite recently.)

but I was talking with my husband last night about why someone like my mom (who was the sweetest person you could hope to meet) gets a horrible cancer and is dead within 18 months, yet people like * and his evil crones don't.
