and no prizes for making the first Wylie Coyote reference...
I just got Roadrunner, and I'm told that it's possible to install a wireless router so that I can log on anywhere in the house.
True? Difficult? Good place to go for directions? The installer was a slacker who couldn't wait to get out of the house -- although it was after 6:00 p.m. on a Saturday so I can't really blame him.
Thanks for your help and your Looney Tunes references.

1. Yes it is possible. I didn't set it up though, so don't ask me how. |

The notebooks are both wireless. Roadrunner is aware that people do this the only thing that they say is they won't help you fix it if there is a problem since it isn't their equipment. My son did it and it wasn't difficult but I don't know how. Try the DU computer forum. Here's the link: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=242

I've always liked the way How Stuff Works explains things: http://computer.howstuffworks.com/home-network.htm
