6. Have you ever seen the segment on Stan on American Masters ?
It was the one on George Stevens. Stan has very different eyes and the coloring of them made them very odd looking when recorded on the film of the day. George Stevens suggested a little known type film might help and thus saved Stans film carreer, or so said the PBS series Amereican Masters.

7. I saw some sort of biography that mentioned his eyes
He was saying when he was solo, in the early silents, his eyes were so light blue the irisis didn't really show up.

If I can find that show on the internet, I will watch it, sounds neat.
