Who's been completely ditched this weekend?
Edited on Fri Aug-05-05 01:55 PM by HEyHEY
Me! One of my roomies moved to Hong kong (she left monday), and the other is out of town for the weekend visiting her boyfirend. My friend was supposed to come visit me this weekend, but she bailed. I am too broke to go to Vancouver cause I spent a bunch of dough last weekend thinking I wouldn't have to leave town this weekend.

So now, my only options are hanging at the pub, or calling the one sorta other friend I have who works at another station (ooo verboten friendship). However she's in a play and doesn't have free time until like 10:30 at night on weekends.

So I'm pretty well stuck with a whole buncha fuck all to do.
Also, I have no computer at home now either... so yeah... big fun for me!

Bitch about you shitty weekend here---------

1. You could read
and clean house and catch up on laundry? Think how stress free your week would be come Monday?

2. I could be riding in a beat up old beetle to a KS city bachelor party
So if my friend breaks down then I avoided a true pain in the ass. If my friend's car survives, I missed a party.

4. I had left this weekend open
except that tomorrow night I'm a judge for a big regional songwriting contest.

Otherwise, no gigs, no plans. I kept the weekend open to wrk on a recording project I am coproducing with a local artist. They were offered a couple of lucrative out-of-town gigs, so the sessions are off.

My soon-to-be-ex has already moved out. My kids are staying there and/or having sleepovers with their friends. The STB-ex moved the TV and associated stuff out last night, so I can't even watch frigging TV or listen to music (except crudely).

I quit drinking in January, so the pub isn't even an option.

What am I gonna do?
