I always wear a watch and it also drives me nuts to not know what time it is.
But at the same time, I'm also one of the least punctual people on the planet.
I guess I use my watch to know how late I exactly am...

|
I want to know what time it is, silly!
The only places I don't wear it are: In bed, in the shower, doing dishes...

14. one of 3 21 jewel SEIKO series 5 automatics. |

BEAUTIFUL self-winding, day-date with a crystal back. One for everyday, two different styles for dress.
They keep perfect time, are shock, water and magnetic proof, oyster case, the "Japanese ROLEX."
A watch to leave to one of your kids. I give them to relatives' kids as graduation presents.
However, if I'm feeling old fashioned, only one of my 19th century WALTHAM pocket watches will do.

I have a retro design in silver (rare). I love it to death, even if it's a big hunk of ugly plastic.

18. Never. My wrists are too slim. |
|
But I am very punctual. If I'm going to be somewhere where I won't otherwise have any access to the time (radio, other people, etc.) I will carry a watch in my pocket, if I currently have a working one.

I don't wear rings or bracelets either - don't like stuff on my hands.
Now, if I could ever find a vintage woman's sterling Cartier tank watch (sapphire cap on the stem), that I'd wear.
If I'm traveling, I'll pack one in an accessible pocket in my carryon...

24. Always have one with me |
|
But wear it as little as possible.
I hate having anything round my wrist, so whilst I'll wear a watch walking to work, it gets dumped on my computer even before I start making coffee once I get into work.
I have a couple of pocket watches too - but one can't really wear those from day-to-day.

Always running about checking my watch. Clocks and calendars are all over my house. The only time I don't wear a watch is during law school exams and the bar exam; I took it off and propped it up on the table (for some reason it freaks me out to feel the watch on my wrist as I write under pressure).

Although gold doesn't seem to bother me, I can't afford it.

29. Paint it with clear nail polish |
|
I got a lovely Brighton tank watch as a gift, and I do wear it once in a while.
It made a watch-shaped welt on my wrist, but then I painted it with several coats of clear polish, and no problems. Have to repeat sometimes as it peels off, but no more welts.
