Where in the hell do you buy sheets that will fit a 17" mattress? |
|
I'm still shopping for a new mattress, the one I'm looking at is 17" high! Isn't that kind of ludicrous? The next one I like is 15". My entire current mattress AND box spring don't equal 17"!! :D

5. Look for "deep pocket" sheets. |
|
They're out there. I have a cal-king that's really deep, and was lucky enough to find 400-thread count at Costco!
Yay!!

9. It's the latest thing. |
|
I haven't bought a new mattress in years, but my mom did & she said they're all deep.
Look for 'deep pocket' sheets. And have fun. I don't think you'll find them at Tuesday Morning. Maybe Overstock.com. Or you can pay full retail-gag! :)

14. I'm gonna edit my comments |
|
to add that my mom bought hers years ago & at that time it was really hard to find sheets. I remember her bemoaning it over & over. It's been so long there probably are more being offered.

10. You can get the box spring cut in half (to height of 8") |
|
in most stores.
Or, if you like Tempur-pedic matresses you can get either an 8" or 12" matress with an 8" or 12" box spring.
My hubbie and I just bought a new matress and we, too, were shocked at the overall height!!

11. Tuesday Morning has extra deep sheets in high thread counts. |
|
I have a 15" deep mattress. It's worthwhile to buy a two or three really good sets. That's all you'll need. :)

13. I have an oversized mattress - most Linen stores carry them |
|
I love sheets and own several sets - purchased at Bed, Bath & Beyond, Sears and an old outlet store that went out of business. Most of them will carry sheets specifically for oversized mattress including high thread count!
