MATCH!
We've finally matched a pair of socks!

WE LOVE SOCKS! .:·

HOORAY: Two more socks have been added to the database. We have one from someone who claims their real name is "Mud" no really! The other sock comes from crasy German speedcore DJ Hudson Hetz. He's quite something... nearly!

Hello and Welcome to www.lonelysocks.co.uk. Here you will find the biggest known collection of lonely socks on the internet.

Have you ever rifled through your socks drawer to find only three socks. One green, one blue and the other yellow? Where did the other one go? Unfortunately these lonely socks are usually thrown away like a piece of rubbish. :(

We're all too embarrassed to walk into Marks and Spencer (other sock retailers are available) and ask for one sock. This is the true motivation behind the site. To reunite socks with their long lost partners. Maybe Rob from Pontypridd lost a sock with a white stripe around it while Sarah in Cowdenbeath lost exactly the same sock. They both have a lonely sock. These socks should be united with a sock of their own kind. This is what we intend to do on www.lonelysocks.co.uk. It's a tall order but with your help we feel it is possible.

enjoy looking around the site,
---steve@milkthebridge.co.uk

2. I've long been convinced
that there's a black hole in most dryers that periodically ingests an item or two (usually a sock because of the strange shape of most black holes) and delivers it to some other part of the universe or perhaps even to an alternate universe.

Less often the black hole plucks something from somewhere else and delivers it to a dryer in this universe. My proof is that I have a green towel that mysteriously showed up one day in my dryer. Not one I ever bought. I'd not had an overnight guest who might have brought his or her own towel. It's a perfectly good towel which I've used for years.

4. YES!
And I have a good reason. I have a 32 pound sock shreader in the form of a beagle/springer mix.

7. I have two theories on who's been taking my socks...
gnomes and/or elves. I have yet to narrow it down, but I think the "Underpants Gnomes" are also stealing just one sock of mine. :shakes fist:

8. Gaaaahhhh! I really hate left-lane cruisers!
You know the kind: they sit and occupy the left lane on cruise control, matching speed with the car to their right, so nobody can get by!

Fuckers oughtta be shot!

(Sorry, I was bored and wanted to jack a thread...)

9. I have lots of socks that look alike but are not the same height!!

11. If you have single socks and a cat, the answer may be simple.
