Gratutitous self stimulation |

I prefer not to use caffeine and the like to stay awake for long drives, and so forth. I'm naturally stimulated in such endeavours.
I can go all day and all night, if I need to. But I do start to feel sleepy if I get stuck behind someone. That's why I always like to go fast and stay in front. Much safer that way.

5. Nope. So far, I've managed to avoid that |

Must get out there one day, though. Maybe when they induct me (on general principle) into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame.

For a minute there I thought this might be a sex thread. Thank god for my delicate sensibilities.

Though they sometimes force me to go just a little too fast when it's perhaps not the most prudent course. It really is the devil's music, that demon-inciting rock 'n' roll bop.
M&Ms are good, too. Actually, pretty much any chocolate delivery system. I don't know if they help, other than through the act of chewing and so on, but long-distance driving's a great excuse to plow through some empty calories.

Chocolate is high in anti-oxidants. Think of those M&Ms as health food.

That sounds good, but what do you have against occidentals?
Or did you mean anti-accidents? 'cos, yeah, chocolate could save your life out there on the highways.
You know, it wouldn't hurt you to start reading the Reader's Digest "increase your word power" section to expand your vocabulary and avoid such ambiguous malapropisms (that means "one-size-fits-all faulty airscrews"). :P

Not sure that M&Ms qualify.

Actually, I think it's more that dark chocolate delivers a higher dose of the good stuff but that it's present in all good, real (i.e., non-Hershey) chocolate.

so, obviously, the correct approach is to eat much heartier quantities of milk chocolate. I'm hoping to get a prescription for Cadbury's.
