Lounge Question taken from Six Feet Under (but all can answer) Spoilers |
|
You're riding along with the guy/gal that you think that you like and in their car you find out they're playing a mix tape they made of pop music.
Do you continue and listen to it or do you immediately force them to change stations. If Claire wasn't so out of it with her brother's death she would have ditched this guy after it was revealed he's a bush-loving repuke. But sorry, if I'm forced to listen to a mix tape of POP MUSIC I'd make the guy pull over to the side of the road and I would get out.

I had a hard time sitting in a car with someone playing music I couldn't stand. Now I don't get bothered by things like that so much.
Claire is in a very different spot because of what is going on with Nate. That might be playing a factor in her acceptance of Ted but it also seems to go beyond that. Despite his support for the invasion of Iraq he seems to be developing into a guy Claire feels she can trust. The four guys we have seen her with during the show's run seem to be more like Claire but none of them were very good to her or for her. Despite her differences from Ted he seems to care for her and she seems to greatly appreciate that during this time in her life.
This is fairly off topic and although I don't think I could be with a person who shares Ted's views this seems to be working for Claire. She deserves some happiness and Ted might be the source of it.
