26. The Gate To Women's Country by Sheri Tepper

A novel about the relationships between men and women, about war, about violence, about sexism.

Although recommended to me many times, I ignored it. I'm a gay man. What could male/female relations mean to me? Answer: a lot.

Brilliant and scary. It should be required reading.

of wrath are filling." This book gave me a picture of America that I had never seen and gave me a better understanding of what life in America is like for the poor and underpriviliged.
