6. My three year old has just discovered one of our Calvin and
Hobbes books. She calls it her "comic book" and makes us read the comics to her. We then, of course, have to spend 5 or 10 minutes explaining to her what they mean.

The one that really cracks her up is the one where Calvin is pretending to be a skeleton and says something about "being able to see the food in his mouth".

The next panel is Calvin's father shouting, "Could you please chew with your mouth closed? You think we want to see that?" She laughs every time...Calvin's face is pretty funny.

7. I love C&H
I think Calvin's variation of the "Serenity Prayer" is a hoot:

...the strength to change what I can, the inability to accept what I can't, and the incapacity to tell the difference.

10. One of the best cartoon strips ever drawn
a pity it came to an end, but will always live on in syndication.

11. I love them all, one of my favorites though, is where Calvin is hammering
tacks into the coffee table...

Mom: Calvin! What are you doing?!?!

Calvin: Is this a trick question?
