Some are libertarian, though how they think they can wield a gun is beyond me. However, I have no scientific polling data to back up these assertions.

44. I hear ya. I hope to retire within the next 6 months or so
and that's only if I win the lotto.

Otherwise, another 90 years of hard labour for me.

My problem is lack of COMPULSION. I have always been lazy. Mom criticized me for it, and I said "well you raised me". Hubby criticizes me for it (jokingly half the time) and I retort "Well, ya knew it before ya married me" heh. At least I win all the arguments :)

Right now he's out of town. If he were in town, I'd be sacked out 3 hours ago. But because I *DON'T* have to go to bed, I'm like a child and refuse to do so even though I know it's best for me.

Last night I held out til 3:30. I think I can do better than that tonight (I mean, "today")

41. I saw Air Force One yesterday!
We were on a plane, ready to fly out of Albuquerque, when the pilot said Air Force one was flying in. We saw it land. A cool sight, regardless of the main occupant.

Of course, we had to wait for about a half hour for the boy king to dethrone before we could take off...

52. another case of 'everything is as it should be'
I also ordered highway pegs. You would have laughed your ass off if you could have watched some my last 75 miles home on Sunday night. I propped my feet on the top part of the fairing (almost on the pockets) at one point. I decided do something about that need for different positions.

Back when I was riding at the tender young (and crazy) age of 18 I did some awesome moves on two wheels.

distances or for any length of time.

Riding my Goldwing is like sitting in a favorite chair at home with excellent seat padding, built in radio and NOAA weather channel. I use my left fairing pocket to carry a bottle of water for the ride the windshield helps but I still get dehydrated after an hour or more of riding.

101. Maybe I could have a pool built, and then...
have the rest concreted. A few tasteful plastic palms here and there and I'd have a low maintenance oasis! :)

103. Perfect!
Pools are always great. But a pool might be more of a pain to maintain than a yard.

124. Well, it's sort of like Duluth...
except that it's in Africa and in the Southern Hemisphere.

However were I crowned King of Lesotho, which of course, I do not expect, I would probably move my kingdom to Wisconsin. This would make it much more Duluth like, or as Duluth-like as you could be without actually being in Minnesota.

108. Artist corrects her infamous spelling mistakes in Livermore (CA) mural
An EDUCATIONAL mural, no less
Paging Matcom...

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/chronicle/archive/2005/08/09/BAspelling09.DTL
(SF Chronicle) --

“What’s in a name?” Shakespere asked.

Make that “Shakespeare.” Miami artist Maria Alquilar, much maligned for 11 misspellings that popped up in the educational mural she designed for the Livermore public library last year, spent today under the hot sun correcting her mistakes.

In addition to fixing the bard’s name, she changed “Eistein” to “Einstein,” “Gaugan” to “Gauguin” and more.

But Alquilar, who at first claimed artistic license....
