Finally, I've managed to work it out. The last time they were in Philly, I had a gig. On this leg of the tour, they're playing Philly the same night as middle school back-to-school night. However, I'm able to go see them at Town Hall in NYC with ROBERT FRIPP opening! WHEE!

and not a complete leader of the band. When he is solo or leader of the band, Like the League of Crafty Guitarists, he has a tendency to do lots and lots of scale runs which I find boring.
