I had mine for 7 years before I had to have any work done other than routine maintenance (and replace a few tires that got punctured). I'm at over 120k miles and still have not had to replace the brake pads (they are ceramic), though I've had them cleaned twice. It is easily the most reliable car I've ever had, and I'd gladly buy another.
