Hollywood DU meetfest--I'm the first one conscious

So I'll just take a moment to post that everyone represented really well.I was late and FRiday LA traffic is a zoo on wheels. Here's the first pic to be posted, allthough Booberdawg has more if she didn't lose her camera. :
Here's the entrance to the restaurant, and the valets:

It was easy to find the DUers in the line:


Doveturnedhawk (aka Dennis) found he was outnumbered by anti-Clark DUers


although we toned
it way down after a very graphic street theater presentation given by
beherenow and NSMA
and then we all kissed and made up.

(I was surprised/disappointed there wasn't more tongue involved frankly.)

According to flamingyouth, this lady was seated behind me in Hollywood's latest
dead fashion trend,
and didn't understand why she wasn't getting
all the attention in the room during the Clark vs, Dean debate:

It was great to meet you - what a blast we had. I'm getting back up on the horse... can you imagine I'm actually going out again tonight ... for Mexican food and ONE margarita!?!?

13. Wel, honest, that's a pretty rough approximation of the place

and the events. Real photos will exist shortly.

I think there were at least 20 people there; the table was so long you couldn't talk to everyone at once.

It was mad crazy crowded and hijinks ensued.

14. I'd say it was closer to 30 people

At first we met in the bar as people were arriving. Then at about 7:30 (I think) we were seated in the patio area where we could smoke. :D A few more arrived after that. BTW, I just think the law here in CA about not being able to smoke in a bar or restaraunt is cruel and heinous.x( My dad thought to warn me about that little tidbit Friday morning before I left San Diego.

My folks have the same camera and digital software I do so it looks like I'll be able to download the pics off my camera. If I can access a webserver I'll post them tomorrow. I had a link to my webserver on my home PC and not sure if I can remember the darn address. I'll post them on the thread flamingyouth started.
