What is your desktop background/wallpaper?
I update mine with some clever sayings I find on DU, like "A jobless recovery is like a foodless meal." What's yours? post a link if you can...

34. I like the clock in the upper right.
What is it called?

I see you are also a user of Firebird and Thunderbird.

I alternate between Safari and Firebird.

Here's what mine looks like right now.

2. At work, I have a photo of my cat
but, when I lock my workstation, it changes to an old wallpaper I had of "da Bears." I think it's weird, but I love my Bears so why change it?

At home, I have a Charles Wysocki program that randomly displays one of his cat drawings for the wallpaper and screensaver.

I used to have Lucy... that was way cool. Then Ansel Adams. I've had many.

3. A 3D Background of a forest and northern lights
http://www.digitalblasphemy.com/dbgallery/2/skysong2640.shtml

I have it set at 1024x768, which is sweet looking. I had it linked to the 640x480 one for those with dialup.

Oh, and check out the other wallpapers from this site. They're some of the best I've seen anywhere on the net

5. Cool
I like that one. The problem I have is a widescreen display, so I can't ever find one at the right resolution.

but, they do have quite a few nice widescreen wallpapers on that site, but you have to subscribe to get them :(

17. Unfortunately :(
One thing I do is use pictures I take with my digital camera - they show up great with a 3MP camera. Now I just need to get creative and take some nice nature shots or sunsets or something...

37. Look for desktop images for the Mac. Because they sell
wide screen monitors, many have gone to that format. You may want to flip some images 180 degrees horizontally if you are running windows.

http://www.macdesktops.com/

they used to have a lot of adult images, but since Ashcroft, they have toned it down.

15. Now I remember why...
The FREE version only lets you download images at 800x600, and my resolution is 1440x900, so everything comes out pixelated. But I like the photos - I'll try to get used to it.

38. At work or at home?
At work it's pictures of freinds and family that rotate every few minutes.

At home it's a bit more "adult". Some of the same people are involved. Just in a little less clothing. ;-)
