Savings! Where do they come from?

Some old sages speak of this ancient thing called "remainder of salary," but I don't believe such a thing ever existed. It doesn't look physically possible.

Savings are those thingys you'll be using to support yourself in old age once they dismantle SS. I've heard that everyone would have them now if it weren't for all the withholding stuff..

because everyone has to go into as much debt as they can in order to prop up our fucked-up tottering wrecks of economies as long as we can so that the ruling class can make out like bandits before the whole edifice comes crashing down.

The biggest problem to me is that the month is TOO LONG!!! If it were shorter, I'd save a LOT.
