What line from a movie have you used the most?
Edited on Thu Aug-11-05 05:37 PM by caty
From the movie "Hitcher"--the first line is: "my mother told me never to do this". I used that line a lot when raising my son. He saw the movie too, and I would remind him that if he had just done what his mother had told him, none of those bad things would have happened. But, of course, he didn't listen.

21. "Well, it was some kind of juice"
from Woody Allen's "Take The Money And Run". At one point in the film, a narrator questions various people from Woody's past to find out how he descended into a life of crime. One guy begins rationally enough to talk about Woody, but soon digresses into one trivial thing that leads into another trivial matter, to the point that he's eventually talking about what he had for breakfast that morning, orange or another juice, finally concluding for the narrator that "well, it was some kind of juice". I usually say this when either I or someone else has ridiculuously digressed from the original topic.

22. "it's surreal"
from a Mike Nesmith video.

And it is surreal that a line from a movie I use the most often flies out of my head when the question is posted. Will likely start saying the line again when the thread is gone.
